Huachuang Tianhong Completes the Supervision Task of "Blue Dream Melody"

On May 28th, the fully refurbished "Blue Dream Melody" cruise ship was transformed with a brand-new look in Zhoushan, ready to set sail on its maiden voyage.

Through a fair bidding process, HuaChuang TianHong (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. （hereinafter referred to as "Huachang Tianhong " ）was fortunate to undertake the supervision of the repair and renovation of the "Blue Dream Melody."

The "Blue Dream Melody" is a luxury cruise ship under Shanghai Blue Dream Cruise Co., Ltd., with a total tonnage of 42,289 tons, a total length of 202.85 meters, a width of 28.1 meters, 609 cabins, and a full load capacity of 1,580 people.

Since mid-March, when the "Blue Dream Melody" entered the Zhoushan COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. dockyard for repair, until May 28th when the comprehensive renovation was fully completed, the repair project lasted for two and a half months. The main repair and renovation projects included overall ship refurbishment, equipment and facility upgrade, new shore power system installation, and special dock inspection of the ship. Among them, the hotel part of the renovation project mainly included the transformation of 35 rooms on Deck 6, the repair and replacement of the entire ship's PU flooring, theater renovation, replacement of the entire ship's CCTV system, installation of an outdoor big screen on the open deck, and replacement of kitchen equipment, marking one of the most extensive cruise ship repair and renovation projects in recent years.

The comprehensive repair and renovation of the "Blue Dream Melody" involved more than 300 on-board staff members and nearly a hundred equipment suppliers and service providers from around the world. The repair and renovation project was massive, with a variety of repair techniques, high-quality standards, and a large number of participating units and personnel. To ensure that the repair work of "Blue Dream Melody" was completed on time with guaranteed quality, HuaChuang TianHong attached great importance to it, coordinated and deployed, and department leader Shang Jungang was stationed in Zhoushan shipyard throughout the process, maintaining high standards and strict requirements, closely monitoring the details of the process, and strictly controlling the quality. Problems were identified and corrected in each stage of ship repair to ensure the repair quality met expectations. At the same time, effective communication with related parties of the project was actively carried out, and cooperation among them was promoted, ultimately ensuring that the "Blue Dream Melody" repair project was completed on time while ensuring quality and safety.
